Writers Notes

This little film is, I hope, a love letter to everyone who's ever had a sibling, and has known what it feels like to admire them, to depend on them, and to know with instinct and certainty that, through hell or high water, they'll make everything wrong alright together.

Under the strong and impassioned direction of Douglas Rowland II- an insane talent, but more importantly an incredible friend- 'Good Kids' went from a small set of ideas to a finely-crafted story, a simple one, which held a great deal of meaning. We had so little in terms of production value on hand. But with that little, we made something we are proud of. It's small, it's quiet, and it's great. For anyone who's had a little brother, or an older one, this one's for you. Enjoy. And thank you for watching.
